Former SAMOA members
We want all former SAMOA members to know about the upcoming reunion. Check the March archive below for a list of former members we have yet to locate. please contact qwickmini@gmail.com if you think you know where any of these folks may be. Thanks!
Times were simpler when SAMOA was formed. If you wanted some club shirts printed you didn’t shop online for a printer, you went out and bought some silk. Then you stretched the silk over a wood frame. Then with an xacto you cut a design into some film and melted it onto the silk with lacquer thinner and yelled upstairs to your parents that the smell coming from the basement would be going away any minute now. Then you opened a can of some incredibly smelly oil-based ink and started squeegeeing some shirts hollering again that the smell should be going away real soon. It didn’t, of course, because it took hours for the ink to dry but the result was the first generation of SAMOA t-shirts, one of which you see here. How many of these shirts will appear at the 40th reunion in August? More to the point, how many still can be fit into?! I’ll bring mine. For display purposes only. - Ed
